>From Maruti of Vitarana group: In last couple of months..i met many like minded groups.. to have an exchange of ideas and experiences.. The main problem in all groups is lack of active participation from members.. People are not having time to come out and work on ground.
In the discussion with various groups ... We came to know that everybody is interested work for Education. Our idea is to make at least one slum area children to go to regular school. Here is the action plan for that. 1. Identify Slums in our viscinity. 2. Identify children and their present status in education, their needs reasons for not going to school. 3. Motivate them and their parents towards education. 4. Identify the resource over there and other organizations who can help them out. 5. Make them go to regular school or try to set up a single teacher school in that area. To make this happen we need to work hard and have to spend much time. we want to invlove as many groups or persons who are willing to work.....also need to have a meeting with those like minded people. One point is very clear that it is a team work ..and it should be done in a good spirit. PLease forward it to your group members....so that interested people can join us. Date: 26 th Of this month.
