Third Anniversary is fast approaching. For all the new members, Feb 28 is the Formation Day of our group. We celebrate it on the successive weekend. For our first anniversary, we conducted blood donation camp. Bangalore members too did the same. For our second anniversary, we celebrated in Zoo Park. Bangalore members met at Cubbon Park. >From second anniversary onwards we decided to spend time for ourselves for anniversary. Whole year we work on different causes and on the anniversary day we celebrate ourselves. We celebrate as one family. We are different as a group here too. Most of the groups organize gala functions, invite celebrities, conduct competitions and publicize their group. We, on the other hand, take time for ourselves. We want to maintain it as a practise. Anniversary day is special for ourselves. We encourage our members to participate with their families so that the family members of our members know us better. As we all know Papikondalu is going to be closed and there is a proposal to visit it for our anniversary. Kasyap and Jairam are from Khammam. We want to go there though the expense may be a lil bit more (when compared to any other place in the city). *Chaitanya enquired and these are the details:* Chaitanya spoke with APTDC and also a private Launch person whom he knew through some contacts. Both of these start from Rajhamundry. APTDC: 7:00AM -9:00 AM start from Rajhamundry to Pattiseema -by bus 9:00AM - 6:00PM - Launch to Paapikondalu and back 6:00PM - 8:00PM - back to Rajhamundry. cost: Rs. 500/- per head Non A/C; Rs. 600/- per head A/C Private: Similar itinerary as above but the timings are 7:30AM - 8:30PM cost: Rs. 600/- per head. There is a two day trip from Rajhamundry to Badhrachalam by the private launch guys, whose itinerary is 7:30AM - 3:00PM - Rajhamundry to Kovvedu (Dont remember exactly) through bus & launch as per the above itinerary. 3:00PM - 9:00PM then from there to Bhadrachalam by bus and shows the temple. parnashala Provides accomodation and dinner Next day from Bhadrachalam - Rajhamundry by bus and shows some places on the way like Dwaraka Tirumala and so.. Leaves us at Rajhamundry by 7:30PM. This costs Rs.2000/- per head. All the above packages include breakfast and lunch. For launches from Bhadrachalam, Kasyap can help find the details. ============== If all of us in Hyderabad agree to the proposal, we can go ahead and book. Kasyap will book the launch too. I request Blr members also to come and join the celebrations as Papikondalu is going to be closed and we never had an opportunity to meet. This would be a nice time and also we get two days to enjoy and to know each other. If all of you come forward and co-operate, we will organize this event very well so that it would be a memorable one for all of us in all ways. I know that expense would be more.
