Hello Friends,

Greetings.

Yesterday evening I met Giri garu of Dr. Raman Foundation. We got to
know each other a month before when Dr. Raman Foundation conducted
Clothes Drive. When I sent a mail introducing TMAD and BOSF, he
immediately subscribed to both groups and has been following the
updates.

Let me introduce Giri garu. He is a senior software engineer with a
Ph.D. in Computer Science. Working as the Managing Director in a
software MNC in Hyderabad.

He is from Palagummi near Amalapuram. He is one of the founders of
Dr. Raman Foundation. You can visit the Web site: drraman.org for
more details.

They are into Education, Livelihood Support, Old People Support and
Women Support with main focus on Education.

He shared many valuable views based on his experience and discussed
many topics.

The main things that he wished to share with anyone is that, we
should not only be compassionate but competent. More so we should be
correct in our judgement.

When we say equal opportunities, we have to consider even rich and
successful people as well. We have to give them a fair chance. Just
because they are rich and in the top brass of the society we
shouldn't ignore them with our own inhibitions.

We also discussed on BOSF. I explained to him that BOSF is a
platform, a forum for likeminded groups. Through BOSF we only
collect, share and map the information but do not execute a project.

We ended up with two things to get into action:

1. To support the old age home that TMAD members visited on the 1st
of January.

2. To meet Satyavati garu of Bhumika to discuss on a project related
to Pregnant Women.

They want to support pregnant women with nutritious food and
medicines upto 4 months after the delivery. He wants to discuss with
you about this project.

3. They are ready to provide livelihood support (on case by case
basis) depending on the situation and the people involved.

The most important thing is that he wants to attend our monthly
meetings and meet all of us and discuss/guide us on how best we can
accomplish things.

Friends,

Being a very senior executive in IT and involved with a Foundation in
the capacity of a Director, a family person with a wife and two young
children, he still manages time to attend our meeting.

HE REQUESTED HIS APARTMENT MEMBERS TO SCHEDULE THEIR APARTMENT
MEETINGS TO THE SECOND SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH AS OUR MONTHLY MEETING
IS ON FIRST SUNDAY.

It is for all of us to decide on whether we should attend the
meetings or not.

Thank you.

with regards,
PRASANTHI.
