Ravi and Suresh, Thank you.
Yesterday Maruti and I discussed over phone. I couldn't meet Bhagirath but Maruti on part of the slum and orphanage visit almost spent two days with him. He says that Bhagirath is a young boy of 24 years and he is really amazed by the clarity of thought, ideas and desire to serve the country. Bhagirath was aspiring to be an IAS Officer. I feel that it would be good if we do something in the memory of Bhagirath on his birth or death anniversary. Maruti's guess is that they would be doing all the programmes in Bhagirath's name for one year. He will be meeting Bhagirath's parents this weekend and also disucss with Sampath about this suggestion. I still remember the blood donor who died for the unavailability of blood. We couldn't get his details. We wanted to request government to declare his day of death as the day for blood donation so as to remind his efforts and also to motivate everyone to take pledge that no one should die for lack of blood. with regards, Prasanthi.
