Respected members,
Today my friend Ms.Priyanka took Divena to a good cardiologist by
name Dr.Manohar where her family members also regularly check up
their health. As per her feedback given to me after the follow
up,cardiologist told that Divena health is okay now.But as per any
cardiac surgery, there will be some degree of abnormality continues
but it will be okay if she is on medication. So she has to have
regular follow ups later part of her life.

Divena has been done echo(echocardiogram),and the routine
procedures.First my friend wanted to take her to another famous
doctor, Dr.Raghava sharma with the help of their family friends who
are working there.Dr.Raghav Sharma is a very good doctor who does
health camps for free and support many poor patients and also an
active member in Viswaguru trust which helps poor patient surgeries
and medication. The trust also conducts every third sunday a medical
camp in Guntur, for many specialities and poor are further supported
with diagnostic servies and medicines free of cost. Many heart
surgeries and eye surgeries also done free by the trust support. But
as yesterday(4th march) as Guntur bandh happened, their appointment
gets cancelled and today Dr.Raghav sharma not available as he
engaged with another surgery. So she take Divena to another
cardiologist as I mentioned above,as divena exams are fast
approaching,my friend felt to get the medical check up done as soon
as possible.Tomorrow medicines also will be given to her by the help
of Sri.Anthony, professor and a social worker by nature.

Here I want to appreciate my friend Priyanka's contribution. She is
an engineer(B.Tech) who is going Australia for her further studies
by the middle of this month.Though she is busy with her visa
procedure(in fact she has got her visa today) and her cousin
marraige took much of time to take care of Divenas follow up.Today
also she has paid 500 rupees for doing echo and routine check up
investigations.Doctor has given consultation free.

Priyanka is trying to make some arrangements like taking assistance
of some of their circle to make sure that specialist check up and
diagnostic investigations and medicines for free on long term
basis. That might took few days as the physicians she wanted to
approach are not available due to constraints from both ends like
she has her cousin marraige once the physician available,by the time
she is free,the physician unavailable.

So few more days may took to get good support for Divena for long
and also we may get some good information and contacts about the
trust I mentioned there so that in future similar cases from nearby
areas come will be helpful to refer.Infact I have stressed when I
discussed with Prasanthi garu to get familiarized with these type of
organaizations as health care issues are very expensive and need lot
of support finanicially and technically at speciality concerned
people.Research and familiarization must be done on this aspect.

I have talked with Divena and also with her father today after the
follow up.Divena said she is preparing well for the exams starting
from 24 th of this month.

So to summarize her health is good and she can write her exams as
per the schedule provided she is taking her medication as prescribed.

And regarding her father employment I have few concerns. Her father
works for some wood work and getting 170 ruppes a day which is
seasonal. He said her mother often works in cotton mills the work
nature also seasonal and she is being paid 40 rupees a day.But he
told he is not able to do that job,so I asked him what type of job
he looks for?He said he is unable to respond to this question abt
any specific work. But as per my opinion, though he is only a 5 th
class illeterate he can be a worker in a hotlel server or guard or
watchman. But in my opinion and I advised him like that start search
from his known local contacts and even if u doesnot get it for
now,but after some time u will get it.For time being he will be
continued with the present work.Because in my personal opinion to
these type of works, they are the better people to search the better
jobs that fit their aptitude.may be a little bit initiative
resistance there but if we motivate or fine tune him,he can search
and get what he wants.

Friends these are all about Divenas case and her father request as
of now.And I will update further as and some progress being made in
future.

With regards
Dr.Hemanth.

If a thing is not at our reach at now but we feel its good for some
work sure we get that one with our efforts in time.Only thing we
have to express and start the first step as soon as we dream it.
