education awareness.
Discussion on Action Plan:
1. Check availability of vounteers and take committment from them on how
many hours a volunteer can contribute in a week or two weeks. Can try and
utilise Google's non-profits Calendar tool.
2. We need to provide an alternative if we do not like a decision or
activity taken.
3. The decision taken need not be democratic but based on the situation the
active members / members involved should take the decision.
4. Need to combat problem of Geographical Distribution
5. Form Core group and make it event driven / project driven with targets
specified, so that every volunteer would feel it as their responsibility and
strive for making the project a success.
6. There should be unity of purpose for success.
7. We can utilise our skills for empowering disable people.
8. Before adding new members we can allocate them a task and on completion
of that can include them in the group.
Action Plan:
We decided to work based on the core group concept and define ourselves a
focus area / project and go ahead in making the project a success. The
project should be something that could fail so that it has a challenge for
us to go and make it a success. Also targets need to be made which should be
quantifiable so that we can analyse and see where we stand at regular
intervals and strive forward in achieving the targets made.
1. Form Core Group: Every chapter would represent atleast a member or two in
the core group. This can be changed based on the need.

d. Delegate the work for the project to the members.
e. Prepare agenda / project plan for the focus area.
f. Members should be responsible for whatever they are delegated and
strive for the making the project a success.
g. Coordinate with other chapters when necessary and take inputs of
success and failures and utilise & share ones experiences
with others and identify pitfalls and ways to achieving the targets.
3. Suggestions for focus areas: These are the various suggestions made for
