One suggestion is that, take some Youngsters(around 10 people & atleast 5 people)(I think Ravi Shanker gaaru is already gonna support you & he has sent an E-mail to you today) and do whatever you can(with whatever ideas you have), meet whatever NGO(s) U want, meet whomever individual U want to get rid of this problem.....As U said, we cant leave this matter @ this point @ alll... A playground 2 acres is used in the morning as a play ground is being converted to an Open Bar. In the beginning few people used to come, drink and go away. But recently becoz of the Govt. policies, lot of pressure is on Police and Excise officials to make sure more liquor and especially the illict one goes into the market. For the past 2 years I am finding more than 15 to 20 cars parked in this area from 7PM to 12-30AM with about 200 to 300 people with all kinds of nonsense gathering in the place. The source for them is the Jai Matha Wines which is opposite to the Reliance Fresh in Kalyan Nagar (Motinagar). Mobiles provide the lighting and boys keep supplying food. Even in the rain or cyclone also people are present. Finally I decided to fight them out of that place with an idea that even my spouse or my own self may be a victim if not today, some other day. Called on the police station SR Nagar. But they refused to come to the rescue saying that the money paid as mamul by shop fellow only gives them salary and food to eat. I called for police help from 108. Once they came and cleared but again again these people are coming as they have enough support from Police. Just 2 days back I complained to the Police control room 100. Even that person is very rude, Satyanarayana- HC who was insisting me on giving my name and other details. Finally these people on Rakshak mobile came and shooed them away. But the Bar owner and the police have been trying to track me and my mobile through out the night. I am not much worried that something happens to me...even then the responsible are - Shop owner, Rakshak vehicles with mobiles - 9959797612 and 9490617352. But even educated people like us can't do anything against these evils, what can we do at large in the interest of country, native lands, our younger generation and especially in elections... ..... Is the fate of our country buried in the coffins of these rougs and Rowdy sheeters who want to become ministers and our representatives to take our prestige ahead. I have been warned by a close friend of mine in Govt. Dept. to keep away from this place. But how long are we going to be like this….What is Loksatta doing?? What is happening with the Political Parties whom we vote for?? What is happening with so many of the youngsters who are becoming Engineers and professionals? ? Do we need to keep the police in the same manner supporting the Rowdy Sheeters and goones?? All the equipment with police – wireless, walkie-talkies, AK47, fast cars, bullet poofs…are these only meant for protecting some idiots and their dependents?? Will there be ever any change in our outlook that we are better than the pigs (as Sri Sri says)…Are we under a Democracy or Idiocracy??
