There is a plan to go to Wardha, an Ashram built by Jamnalal Bajaj and looked after by Vinoba Bhave. Gandhi asked Vinobaji to take care of this Ashram by the earnest request of Sri Jamnalal Bajaj. Gandhi's policies are implemented here and they are doing many activities. There is a Gandhi Ashram in Nellore inaugurated by none other than Gandhi in the year 1928 (around). It is now under the control of Red Cross. The Secretary of Red Cross, Nellore, Dr. A.V. Subrahmanyam and Prasad garu of Sarvodaya Movement are going to Wardha on July 11th and 12th. Dr. A.V.S. asked me if I can come. Ever since I met Dr. Bawa and came to know about Gandhi Ashram in Nellore I nurtured the idea of visiting Wardha and wondered if we can plan for August 15th, being a Friday and that would be a good occasion. Suddenly came to know that they are going now and he told that if we go with them people also will explain with interest as they are specially going on a Study Tour. There definitely would be a marked difference between mere visitors and enthusiasts. I shared this with few others and all are equally interested. We are only weighing different options. Tickets are not available. Manavata Sriram garu said that it would cost us less if we go in a Vehicle. He will give us an estimate by tonight. We have to inform Dr. A.V.S. by Monday so that he will talk to Sarvodaya Prasad garu for arranging accommodation for all of us. So friends, this is an interesting opportunity.
