Friends, Many a good news await you all.
Education: Very soon we can help Kartik's friends who are in dire straits and desperately need support for their mess bill. (Most of them being BCs need not pay their College fee). Santosh Alladi's colleage Dave gave him GBP 200 (Approximately 14K+ INR) for the purpose of Education and when we forwarded the mail sent by Karthik with details of his friends, Dave gave his consent to help those students with this money. (I may go to Vizag this weekend and if I go I will go to Vijayanagaram and will meet all those students in person. If not also I will request my aunt and uncle to visit once and meet all these students.). Mrs. Vasantha Payyavula expressed her interest to contribute Rs. 1000 to us every month for Education purpose. I forward the details of the students and she also agreed to help these students. She will send money to us from Jan '09 I suppose. As Arun mailed, we helped Priya in Chennai and two siblings in Vidyanagar. We also are weighing the options of helping another boy in Cehennai. We forwarded the money that we raised for Ramayampet children to Sphoorti Foundation. Other Contributions: We donated Automatic Washing Machine to Prema Nilayam Old Age Home. Of course we are yet to contribute to blind children. Kasyap, when are you going to give Double Cassette Recorder? Is that in good condition? How many years it can work? Bangalore I do not remember because they are doing many things. We can read from their MoM. They are consistently active and we hope that all other Chapters of us will gain such a momentum.
