The reason why we selected a festival day, not to take any leave. Last time when some of us visited the place, they felt they couldn't see enough in one and half day --(Due to bad roads and delay in the arrival of bus). Also most of them were tired due to bus journey. This time we wanted to cover Anandwan also which is near by. To see these three places, we need at least 3 days. How many of us can take leave and come for the trips? That is why I have chosen this long weekend. For most of the IT Companies, after Ugadi, general/company leaves are only in September. So we have to wait those many months but again leaves are usually on a Festival Day. My idea is to visit Sabarmati Ashram, Gujarat in September (as we have long weekends this year). That time we anyway have to take one or two leaves to visit the place in detail. This does not mean to request everyone to forgo their festival celebrations, this is only about the reason for selecting these dates.
