Friends, I have a good news to share with you all. We are very close to AMMA Organization volunteers and they are very committed group. Like Pavan, Sreenivas Prasad of AMMA group has very good leadership qualities. They are very much like us.
Sreenivas works in Capital IQ and the company practises a Global Volunteer Day programme wherein they encourage employees to come up with Community Development Projects. We (Karthik, Ravi and I) visited Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel school long ago and referred this school to Sreenivas. Harinath too guided him. Sreenivas visited and drafted content of the details. I prepared a Project Proposal based on that information. Ultimately it got cleared and they very much admired the presentation of the details :) As this project got approved, Sreenivas will be the Project Leader and he has to execute this project with the help of other volunteers with a fund of 1500 dollars. They are very busy in April so the authorities advised him to start and complete the work in May first week. Harinath and I discussed on conducting special classes for these children (Rethibowli school and Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel school). We will work out the details in April. Also Sreenivas agreed to work as TMAD volunteer for at least 6 months till our group get revived. He promised three volunteers from his end. As our members are extremely busy to turn up for the meetings or participate in the activities, I started requesting other group members to help us in reviving the old spirit in the group.
