Today Madhuri met me to give the receipt of the exam fee. Felt very bad to listen the sad state of affairs in her family. She has practicals (viva type it seems) today and tomorrow and her mother was severely down with Sugar yesterday night. Sahitya was in some other place (Bheemavaram) and she is the only one at house to look after her mother. She got affected with Sugar from her young days (Got married at the age of 16 and after two years of Madhuri's birth, she was affected by Sugar) and for the past two years she is suffering from BP too. Asked her to give the medical history details so that we can find a good doctor in our circle who can give best treatment at reasonable amount. It seems that their father died on April 22nd and according to tithi the first year ceremony falls on 17th of April and she has been thinking about the ceremony. It seems there is a quarrel with their paternal grandparents. Their family got Rs. 60,000 and their mother used it to repay all the loans that they took for Sahitya. For the past two months their mother is getting a pension of Rs. 2000 and we are paying for their provisions. They may go to Bheemavaram to do this ceremony. Felt very sad for Madhuri because it is so painful to see our parents and siblings suffer with health and that to in a situation they are in. We are trying our level best to support this family until Sahitya and Madhuri stand on their own legs. Thank you. with regards, Prasanthi.
