Dear Satya, Amazing ! Appreciate your efforts in organising slippers for school kids and the time spent for school. Also I am thoroughly impressed on the kid stories and their interest in drawing. I am staying near by Mehdipatnam, I would be visiting this school some time this week end and presenting them some drawing materials. With regard to school dress, we need to study the requirement and can be woked out accoridngly.

Please read and give your valuable response 25/07/2009 – One more memorable day in my life. Today I went to Medhipatnam School on a reason to Purchase & distribution of slipper to the children along with my friend Alok (an Unregistered Active TMAD member) and Ravi Shankar joined there in. It’s took around 2 hours time for taking foot sizes of children and its a bit difficult to take the measurementsJ. Around 11.45 we are about to start for there to go for purchase of slippers, at that moment we observed that few children are drawing something in their note books. I asked them to show their drawings. Then one by one they came to us and showed the books – it is Lakshmi’s Note book, studying 5th class. She draws a design in her note book. Another girl Bagya laxmi with a Rangoli. And some other showing their drawings. In between Naresh Garu, (principal) came with a kid and showed me his note book telling “See sir what’s there in his note book”, I was shocked by seeing his book. Can any on guess what’s there in his note book...? There were few paper cutting pasted in his books... Do all of you are thinking that cutting belongs to any moives or heros etc... if you think so you all are mistaken.... He was collecting Moral stories & Moral Cartoons. Further my conversation with that KID... I: From where you got these clippings Kid: My uncle will bring news paper to home, from that i will cut the articles which I feel good and will paste it in my note book. And on each and every page I observed a Number and a Name (Shaheez Dhara)... no. I understood as page no. but even though out of my curiosity i asked him about that, for that he replied as page no. and after listening his answer about the name I was amazed..... any guesses whose name it is..... Hopefully none can give answer for this so i am taking the chance to give it finally... it is his mother’s name. and one more thing which i need to say is that he will go off from the school every afternoon coz he cannot be without his mother for long time. (telugulooo cheppali ante valla amma meedha bengatoo vellipotadu anta) I dint found better word in English if any one plz suggest... As we were there I asked him to wait till evening till we complete our work for which he agreed and stayed till we complete our work (later we dont know as we came off ;))... Hope now all are eager to know his details in detail.... Name: The Great & Famous hero King Khan none other than our bollywood badshah Mr. Sharukh Khan Age: 7 Years Studying: 2nd Class At that moment I have no words to express my feelings.... I was astonished for the love and affection shown on a mother by a 7 year old kid and prayed god to keep the same till end. And if all will be the same there won’t be Oldage Homes and there won’t be any parent suffer for the affection of their children. And its about another girl named Bhavani, she showed her drawings but was unable to see them in detail as we are getting late for our shopping and all the other children surrounded us for showing their drawings. So we managed to get out from their by saying that we will back in 2 hours and will see all their drawings. Then they let us to go... >From there I and Ravi went to madina and purchased slippers and came back to >school around 1.00 pm. As promised to children we started to see their drawings. Firstly I asked Bhavani to show her drawings. She brought her book and showed her drawings of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Flowers, vegetable basket, house, teacher (this was copied from Bapu cartoon) and all pics were filled with colorfully colored. I really have to appreciate this girl for the drawings she made in her book. We found few other children also whose drawing were commendable like Bhaghya Laxmi studying 2 or 3 Class, Laxmi studying 5th Class and Shiva Kumar studying 4th or 5th Class. Here one thing I want to point out about Laxmi studying 5th class was handicapped (her right hand 3 fingers are only of One INCH, she uses her right hand only for writing. One finger was operated and was increased to a 1.5 Inch) My proposals: 1. Can it be possible to provide Drawing materials to the kids who draws well. For this I have an idea of conducting a competition and selecting them. 2. The prized drawings can be gifted on behalf of the school to the SBI People or for the other regular donors. 3. Children needs clothes. Shall we contribute uniforms or else anything useful dresses. Waiting for Your Reply Krishna . M Looking for local information? Find it on Yahoo!
