I had a detailed discussion with Mandal Education Officer, Mahipal Reddy. I have requested information on Schools which he would be providing a detailed report on School Information with latest information by August end. 2. Distributed Books after Xth project written by Suresh: He is thoroughly impressed about this book and wanted to distribute across High Shools in Tandoor Constituency if sponsored by us. I am distributing this book along with my Schoolmate Ramesh around 160 books x Rs. 38 comes to Rs. 6080.00 3. He has requested Prashanti gaaru/our team to visit the Mandal at once. He has requested us to take minimum one school and maximum three schools and study the gross root problems and help them to resolve through Government /Voluntary organizations. The detailed letter is enclosed here with along with photographs of Water problem/bathrooms for Girls and also the School ground. 4. We have got a positive response from Special Officer. He will discuss on Budget and get back to us in next 15 days time. Special Officer is in Hyderabad. We need to follow-up through TMAD as well. They are ready to give immediate sanction for 50:50 ratios Which I have not accepted. I have requested them to sanction atleast 3 for which he has agreed. The Shool is struggling to resolve certain immediate problems like Drinking water, School Ground repair, Latrines for Shool etc. The proposal from HM is annexed herewith for your ready reference. They need around Rs. 28,200 towards the following : Cost of Estimation : Leveling the play ground & removing thorny plants, bushes etc. by JCB @ 700 per hour 6 x 700 = Rs. 4200 Spreading gravel and sand @ 300 per tractor 40 trips Rs. 12000 Repairing the water tank, water line Rs. 4000 Repairing the toilets & lavatories for girls Rs. 3000 Erecting play materials volley ball, kho-kho, badminton poles Rs. 5000 TOTAL: Rs. 28200 I would be contributing Rs. 2000/- for this . Request other team members to contribute to make this school in good condition. They had a dream to celebrate with minimum needs by 15th Aug’09. I would also be contributing Rs. 5000 – Rs.8000/- towards 15TH August Gifts along with TITAN WATCHES for School childrens. Would highly appreciate your contributions for the above cause.
