Dear All
Last year we paid fess for Deshik babu, for his XI tuition fee third and
fourth term fees. He has got 846 out of 1000 and 150 out of 200(practicals)
and hence totally he scored more than 85% in his XI standard. Thanks to
Venkat Ganne garu who has sent money for his fees and we paid 6500 last year
out of 14000 total year fees where in his mother paid 7500, which she has
taken as loan with high interest.

This Year we wanted to pay his fees in total i.e. 14000, and as the first
term ended last month, we had to pay 3500 immediately and hence our
bangalore group has sent 3500 to me and I paid the money to the school.
Though I asked for concession for him, the head mistress said its not
possible to get any concession. I will try for it again!!!!

Regarding his studies, he is very good in the class. he is in A section and
is among the top 5 it seems. I told him to try for 95% this year as its very
difficult to get into good college unless eh gets more than 95%. I havent
asked his caste(for reservation), but if he gets good score, thats of no use
anyways..

This time, when I spoke to him at length regarding studies, I could see his
interest in studies and he is very hard working too. he will surely get good
scrore this time. By teh way he is very good at sports too. When I reached
the school, they have this games period and he si very energetic too. But
his shoes are in very bad condition. I will try to get him some good shoes
if possible, though I am not sure when I will go there again.(its very far
from my place in chennai)

One more student from nellore, suman, brother of sujitha, whom we paid first
year (Inter) fees is also looking for our help for his second year . His
sister sujitha has completed her graduation and wanted to go for higher
studies and is gonna join Msc. But she says her fees is low and she can
manage but its very difficult for her to bear her bro fees. Its 6000 per
year(They got concession from college as he is very meritorious). As I
already wrote in my previous m ail last year, they are very poor but its
nice that both of them still continuing their studies despite their
financial situation.

Please add these two students too in our list of education cases. I will
also forward this to some of my frds. But if we get some amt frm some of our
grp members it will be easy to approach others.
