Hi all,
below is the request I got for support for preparing for group examinations
for a young prosperous academically meritorious student by name Shravani.
Please find her credentials attached with this mail and also brief details
at the end of this mail.
I came across this support request from Mr. Chandra Kanth Reddy, who has
been selected for MS in European based consortium Erasmus Mundus programme (
he has been one in 160 members from India who has been selected for doing MS
with total tuition fee waived and as he is poor for initial travelling
expenses his request has been appeared in sakshi paper and that is how I
came across him. Of corse his need has been met now. And this is the request
known from him.
Well hers is a family of four members and all are female children. She hails
from Nirmal town from Adilabad district. Her father works as an accountant
with a pay of about Rs. 2500 per month and her mother adds some money by
working as a beedi leaves rolling laborer.
When I have gone through all her credentials and in conversation with her, I
understand that she has talent and as well as determination power to
overcome obstacles. That can be known to us by her merit selection of Group
2 Non-Executive post by preparing in Adilabad without any coaching. And one
appreciable point is that she has prepared herself while she had teaching
tuitions to students to earn some money for family running expenses. A well
supporting hand as a responsibility to family from her. When I heard her, I
came to know that she has missed her executive post under Group-2 cadre by
10 marks, I felt that if she had been without worries and also with some
proper experienced coaching, she would have got that position.
I talked with her childhood friend Mounika,who currently pursuing her
studies in Hyderabad (who forwarded me this mail) and she appreciated all
her efforts with determination as she saw her personally all her
achievements under struggle. In fact her sister also got around 960 marks (Iam
not sure the exact marks somewhere around 96% I have been remembered. I will
let u know in direct knowing from her) in her Intermediate but unable
to write EAMCET to get admission into Medicine related courses due to
financial constraints and did joined degree course.
Now currently another Group-2 notification to be issued in later part of
this month as announced (already Group-1 notification issued) and this time
she wants to aim at Group-2 Executive post. I found from her voice that till
time she had been managed her academic studies with the support from her
relatives to some extent and also from her tuitions. And as you know Groups
preparation, one should have to study with lot of hours with determination
and without much worries, it is the time someone should help a lending hand
to her for her studies. It is that if someone can support for her coaching
fees, she will aim at the competitive examination preparing in Hyderabad.
Her posting as a non-executive will be in secretariat in posts of
section superintendent etc or few times may be in districts in the same
category of posts in collectorates. As executive posts under group-2 will be
like sub registrar,ACTO (Assistant commercial tax officer) etc.
Though she has been selected provisionally merit list for Non-Executive
post, it will take another 4 to 5 months to join the post as certificate
verification and some other official formalities from APPSC (Andhra Pradesh
Public Service Commission) to Governemnt like financial dept and respective
department approvals to give appointment letter etc may have to be done.
Meanwhile she can prepare for groups-2 again if somebody can support for
her. The exam is expected to be in the months between November 2009 -January
2010.
I have asked her what amount it may take to support her in the form of
tuition fee for coaching and for accommodation here in hostels in Hyderabad.
The tuition fee may be around twenty thousand (In some high around Rs.20000
in R.C Reddy coaching branded institute and in some like Shine Rs.15000
around. iam not sure as these are tentative and I have asked my friends to
know) and for hostels may be between Rs.2500 to Rs.3000 it may take a month
as we know.
As groups notifications depends on governments decision and at times as we
know it may not appear for more years like in case of previous years with
4to 5 years gap in between more. Hence it is better to take the exam now as
already she had done some good preparation on the exam. We can approach
these institutions and can make them some reduction in fee as she has one
selection proving herself a merit student.
So please let me know your opinion and can give a helping hand. You can
speak with her uncle regarding this issue. Please find below after brief
details from her friend where all her details are attached.

5) Degree Biochemistry stream ( Infact as a medical professional we know
biochemisty is tough to get good marks as it is one subject for us in our
first year Medicine) seems she got good percentage first class with
distinction. And she has been placed in toppers list in Kakatiya University
area)

Hello sir....,
Myself, Mounika,from Adilabad would like to say something of
my knowledge about N.sravani, who recently received an appointment letter of
non-executive post. She is basically interested in executive post and so, in
plans to prepare for it. But the economical reasons are making her step
behind from doing so. Her family cannot afford to pay her for all the needs
to be fulfiled as a part of education. Her academic record holds good and
she was a school topper too. She was offered with a free seat in
intermediate in Nizambad-'shankari' due to her academic excellence, but
could not complete the course because of health problem.However she
completed the course in her native place. Sravani completed her graduation
with distinction in Adilabad. With the passion for her studies sravani
prepared for whole year for group II without coaching. Her siblings are also
facing the same problem. one of them is doing their graduation in a college
there in adilabad itself inspite of being 90% securer in intermediate,
losing the ability to reach for medicine because of financial problems.
Sravani received a certificate of appreciation by 'Vishwabharathy
foundation' for excellent performance shown in "Sir C.V.Raman Council Of
Educational Awards", obtained 2nd rank in MNR TALENT TEST-2001 and few more.
