At the risk of sounding cynical and I feel one person indeed can make a 
difference, in their own way, However small the effort may be; the biggest 
example of that is Mahatma Gandhi.... It is true Team work and coming together 
of different groups / people will make it a stronger effort, no doubt about it, 
but so I'm kinda not in agreement that Prasanthi differs one "Though many 
believe even one person can make a difference to society, Prasanthi Uppalapati, 
a senior consultant at DST World Wide Services, begs to differ."

In fact, our very first anecdote related to what inspires us is about a single 
person picking up starfish and throwing them back into the sea.

This said, Prasanthi deserves much praise and appreciation for her efforts in 
bringing together the many groups and coordinating for the betterment of 
society.
