All across the country today people are talking about, debating, and yes, critiquing our new short film, The Story of Cap & Trade. The film got a great mention in a New York Times article http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?et=1102863037991&s=39096&e=001qV06h8XFEFyNxjmTx... None of this would have been possible without the amazing community that has grown up around The Story of Stuff, including the nearly 200 organizations around the world that helped us distribute the film. Thank you for everything you've done to spread the word and for your incredibly positive messages of support. Right now we're closing in on 40,000 views on-line since we launched the film 48 hours ago. That still leaves a lot of people to go! You can go on-line to www.storyofcapandtrade.org right now and use the Share button to spread the word to friends and family. While you're there, please consider making a contribution to the Story of Stuff Project so that we can continue to spread this story. As I wrote in a post on our blog today< http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?et=1102863037991&s=39096&e=001qV06h8XFEFy1BXCja...<http://www.google.com/url?sa=D&q=http://rs6.net/tn.jsp%3Fet%3D1102863037991%26s%3D39096%26e%3D001qV06h8XFEFy1BXCjaFifbGbu-s-BRMT6-_DnOn20gP6Apiz8nDiJGALioFuVVhBWQYoMbs-1yR38wDoJwyZR-t9MItSJWVz9tyU_NkMNWet11U7ZJQDK1KqQZvfOeco9&usg=AFQjCNEABCNt9qIvtGlZq7H7VbjKBFEmxQ>>, the stronger the demands we make for real climate solutions - solutions that achieve ecological sustainability and do so fairly - the easier it will be for those in the political process to inch in that direction too. Let's continue the discussion we've started and encourage our leaders to lead. With deepest gratitude, Annie -- Thank you. with regards, PRASANTHI. http://groups.google.com/group/birdsofsamefeathers ---- When you want something, the whole universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.
