My colleague in the U.S has a difficult problem. He has an aged father, who is almost like a retarded person. He does not hit or harm anyone, but is sometimes rude, arrogant, very forgetful, stubborn and may scold those who are taking care of him. My colleague and dear friend's mother passed away very recently and it has become a problem for him to take care of his father in India after his mother is no more.
Help required : He is looking for someone, an individual, or a couple, or even a couple with kids to take care of his father. What will be provided: He is willing to pay, provide accommodation (maybe live with his father in the same apartment), take care of the family / their children's expenses. I believe currently he was paying an agency about INR 9000 for an attendant, apart from food- with this kind of money, a poor family can actually live well off. Attributes of service provider: Someone who will treat his father with care, affection, love, and a lot of patience. My colleague is visiting India this Friday, so if any of you know of any couple/ individuals who can be trusted and also be given this opportunity to earn a livelihood would help.
