As I requested all of you, please spare your time to participate in TMAD anniversary. This is once in a year effort. Let me explain the reasons on why we request all members to participate and why all Chapters have to meet: 1. First and foremost, we are imbibing a culture of a family in our group. We are not working with our group as it is like any collective social work. No. We are considering our TMAD as a family. In all these five years, we are very successful in cultivating this notion. We need to nurture and inculcate as a practise. 2. Most of our members know the names of members of other Chapters. But we do not get an opportunity to meet all in person. When we meet our group members of all Chapters in this way, it will help develop the notion of a family and generates f'ship. We feel like one big family and even if we move to Chennai, Blr or Pune or Delhi, we do not feel like we are at a new place. Our members are already there. 3. To learn from each other It is a good opportunity to know members of other Chapters and also how they are running the Chapter, the kind of activities that they are taking up, the kind of obstacles they face, problems they are trying to overcome etc., It is a good opportunity to know others and to learn from them. 4. It is like a Family Outing We invite our members to come with their family members to introduce TMAD family. My parents will be present if they are free and Arun's parents will come, Dr. Sundar comes with his family etc., It is a good opportunity for all of us to know each other very well and from next time onwards we will get much support from our family members also as they get to know all members of TMAD family. 5. A Trip for Edutainment This is a trip for education and entertainment. We are very choosy in selecting a place by visiting which we can learn a lot... not just in one way but multiple ways. 6. Do not consider money for this one trip Please do not think this as a waste of money. It serves many a purpose and it is only once in a year that we meet this way. Request you all to cooperate and attend once. If you do not like for any reason, then express and share how best we can develop this culture. But at least once, please all of you participate. We have every reason to celebrate as we got Tax Exemption and all Chapters are in the revival phase. Do you know of any other group which celebrates anniversary in this manner? Do you know of any group wherein there would be visits to places of importance? Please understand and consider the motto behind this trip and make it a big success by participating.
