Hi Friends, It seems there are 10 such girls now. Madhavi garu is requesting us to consider and support, somehow or other, as these girls can get a job.
She is saying that she has taken coaching last year for Group I and she has seen so many girls and heard their pathetic stories. If we can start a home in Ashok Nagar for girls, it would help them a lot. If we can provide support for them for one year, they can settle in a good job and we can hope support from them in return to take the effort forward. I am writing this mail for two reasons. 1. To see if we can find help for this year (immediately for coaching. Heard that there is some govt. organization which can reimburse the course fee...if you know, please share those details). 2. To know the pros and cons. of setting up a home for girls (specially the ones who are coming from villages with no financial support and dreaming big to get govt. jobs and the differently abled ones). a. What are the legal procedures that we need to follow? This would not be completely free. Those who can afford should pay at least the minimum amount. b. What about the security? Do we need to employ security guards? I mean, is that necessary to have guards? (I am not sure. No hostel and home that I know have guards.) c. Can we get some help from govt. to run this home?
