Pavan garu of Lead India recently started an NGO, Remedia - Research in Education, Media and Development. They are right now working on differently abled and eventually will scale their services to tribals. 1. Music Classes for children of ages 6 to 8 years who can give a commitment of 5 years for learning Music. The classes will be conducted in Vanasthalipuram. Duration: Once in a week Type of Music: Instrumental - Violin, Keyboard and Tabla (Idea is that students who learn these three instruments can form a troupe, give concerts and make a living) Any differently abled child can avail this opportunity. No fee at all. Children has to make their own arrangement for conveyance. 2. Spoken English Programme This is for all age groups of differently abled. Even working men/women also can avail this opportunity. Being differently abled is the only criteria not their earning capacity. This is a 45 day crash course, an evening programme.
