Hi All, This is Likitha. I have been TMAD member for the past 4 months but registered in yahoo group today only :)
Last sunday i attended the BOSF meeting at Desire Society(http://www.desiresociety.org/) along with our Prashanti. Even before attending the meeting i saw a program in maatv about the Desire sociery about the HIV effected kids, which was very heart touching. I am proposing a fund rising event for the kids of that society. The collected funds will be spent for the DesireSociety( home for HIV effected kids) and Jyothi - Spoorthi(Home for Visually challenged girls) and to TMAD(to support talented poor students like especially the one that we are supporting for GROUP2 aspirants at Shine institute Ashok Nagar). Our members Geethika, Pavan baradwaj, Amarnath garu also supported the idea. Yesterday we met Sujatha garu of Shradda foundation. Sujatha garu is none other than Suji( AandhraPradesh most beautiful anchor) who is rocking at "Close Encounter" program in TV9. Last year she has conducted "Colours" event at Harihara kalabhavan , secunderabad. We took her valuable suggestions to conduct the event. We are planning to conduct the event in the month of October(may be 2nd or 3rd sunday) at some small auditorium in Hyderabad. As part of the event we are planning to call some Singers(Names will be announced soon, once we finalized and every one can come forward if you know any singers), dancers (differently challenged people from Larence master group). Also singing and dancing events by the inmates of the both the homes(Desire and Jyothi-spoorthi). We are at very beginning stage of our idea and we are only a few members. So i request all TMAD members from all chapters please give your valuable suggestions and great voluntary support. Thanks and Regards Likitha.
