The "README.txt" file in Tomcat 4.0 was recently clarified to cover one
confusing point -- you need the "JMX Instrumentation and Agent Reference
Implementation" (current version number is 1.0) from
<http://java.sun.com/products/JavaManagement/download.html>. There is a
separate download called the "JMX Reference Implementation" which does not have
everything that Tomcat needs.
