Sorry, but that's not what I said Henry. Last month I even came up with
a proposal that got accepted (but never turned to reality) on how to
handle this situation... But it seems to me, that everyone here is more
interested in flaming others rather than read and discuss... And this
sucks...
I'm not saying to kick the 3.3 proposal out, I'm just saying that, from
what I see 3.3 is as different from 3.2 as 4.0 is, it is a different
container. And because of this, rules for revolution and evolution are
given:
- old container = bugfixes, improvements (TC3.2)
- current container = developement (Catalina)
- new container(s) = proposals (whatever you want for 5.0)

Your comments were to the overall Jakarta and XML projects, and being a
father for both of them, it made me feel so sad. As now taking you an
example on my email makes you feel sad. With one line it's like you
washed away years of work and commitment of many people including me.
With one line I washed away your involvement on this project...

And I'm sorry, but I'm going to vote -1 on this. What we did in the last
years stays there in the records, no matter what we say. Our work and
commitment on the project was untouched by your one line, you invaluable
contribution on packaging and distributing was untouched by my one line.

English is not my primary language too, and many many times I can't
express what I feel exactly. But I've been here long enough to see that
no matter what we say around here, what lasts is our contributions to
the project. And I've been here long enough to know how to understand
and digest flamewars.... Where would I be now if I dropped out when Ed
Korthof wrote me and Stefano "Enjoy your cathedral" two years ago?
