There is commiters in tomcat area which are not just TC4
commiters, TC 3.2/3.3 teams, JTC team, Jasper34 team.

Who decided what ? I didn't recall about a VOTE on that area.
Should I recall that the PRE-PROPOSAL was launched by someone
which is not involved in TC4, I.
The pre-proposal was about having a separate tomcat subproject,
jakarta-tomcat-doc, where redactors could have access to this
particular CVS even if they don't have access to code CVS.
Should we have a unique BIG project covering all aspects of Tomcat
or should we start to broke it in smaller parts.
My idea is that new commiters (developpers/redactors) will be more
confidents working on little project than on a huge one....
We started sometimes ago, the sub-project jakarta-tomcat-connectors
(J-T-C), covering the web-server to servlet-engine developpement.
It includes mod_jk, mod_webapp, coyote and it's very active and openess.
I strongly think that this area is active since there is many new
commiters in (Andy, JF, Mike, Kevin), the team is small and the project
is clearly delimited.
I'd like to see the same organisation in J-T-D (jakarta-tomcat-doc)....
