http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=5863 Real-Name in Login-Config Summary: Real-Name in Login-Config Product: Tomcat 4 Version: 4.0 Beta 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: Other Component: Catalina AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] According to the spec, the real-name applies only to the Basic authentication. Therfore, Tomcat should not accept the presence of this element if auth-method is something other than Basic. An example of this misuse can be found in the example web-app which uses form login but defines a realm-name. I think it should be corrected. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
