http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=9362 compiilation of JSP that includes a non-existant file dies without error message Summary: compiilation of JSP that includes a non-existant file dies without error message Product: Tomcat 3 Version: 3.3 Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Jasper AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I don't know if this qualifies as a bug or an RFE, but if one attempts to compile a JSP that includes a file that doesn't exist, Jasper just dies. It is most noticeable (and perplexing) when combined with the ant 1.5b1 JspC task, since Jasper apparently dies in such a way that ant also cannot continue (and also does not throw any error).
