http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=14816 JVM stops after leaving the telnet session Summary: JVM stops after leaving the telnet session Product: Tomcat 4 Version: 4.1.12 Platform: Sun OS/Version: Solaris Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Catalina AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Platform/OS used: SPARC/Solaris 8 JDK used: JDK 1.4.0 now migrated to 1.4.1 This server doen't have an own terminal, so I do everything via a telnet session. Tomcat starts fine, using the $CATALINA_HOME/bin/catalina.sh script. When exiting the telnet session, the jvm shuts down, so that Tomcat is unavailable. I tried to put the jvm process in the background and detach it from the controlling terminal with '&' and 'nohup' but that doesn't work. In the meantime I have got a workaround from Sun, using the 'at' command to execute the script which works just fine. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
