http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=17137 mod_jk compiled in 64-bit does not connect to remote tomcat Summary: mod_jk compiled in 64-bit does not connect to remote tomcat Product: Tomcat 4 Version: 4.0 Beta 1 Platform: Sun OS/Version: Solaris Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: Other Component: Connector:JK/AJP (deprecated) AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I have apache-2.0.43 + mod_jk 4.1.18 compiled on Solaris 8 in 64-bit mode. Tomcat runs both on the local machine, and on a remote. If a worker is configured to connect to tomcat on the local machine, it works fine. When configured to connect to tomcat on a remote machine, it fails. If apache and mod_jk are compiled on the same box in 32-bit mode, then it works fine both against local and remote tomcat. 32-bit compilation is forced by using -m32 flag.
