JNI problems

------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-02-24 11:58 -------
I think people should just avoid JNI for now. It doesn't give any performance
boost anyway.

Ok, I'll add a note in jk2 release, but I'd like to see fixed the misc problems with others Apache 2.0 modules.

About the no performance boost, that's my measurement (it's a bit faster than a socket with IIS, but slower than that on Linux with Apache 2). Costin was a bit suspicious, but I couldn't improve the results.

I think the manifests of the JARs need updates to fix the issues.
