http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=27191 ROOT/index.jsp contains wrong statement [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED Resolution|INVALID | ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-07-13 11:02 ------- I'd like to have this reopened. Besides the fact that the annotation ("... can be found on the local filesystem at: $CATALINA_HOME/webapps/ROOT/index.jsp") is misleading, the fact that it can't be "customized" any more creates a situation that can no longer be corrected: I am running multiple Tomcat-Installations in one machine, with apache on top via connector. Therefore, I put all my tomcat "homepages" in Apache VirtualHosts. Then, I "jk_mount" the tomcat-root- context to "<VHOST-DNS>/root." (As i dislike any application having context- root "/"). Within this szenario, the tomcat "index.jsp" is no longer working correctly, as the "hrefs" for admin, examples, etc, rely on running in context-root "/". The links need to be adjusted from href="examples..." etc. to href="/examples", "/manager ...", etc. (Leading "/" is elementary). --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
