JK2 is officially unsupported.
Regarding your builds...
You will need MSSDK 2003, apr, apr-util, apr-iconv and
pcre from Apache2, as well as J2SDK.
The SDK includes should precede the one from MSVC6.
You see... Too much to maintain.
