Yes, crossContext is set to true.

However, first let's see if setting crossContext="true" brings the
behavior you desire.  I should have mentioned this in my first response.

No problem, even though I mentioned it in my initial posting. ;)

To be honest, my feeling is that Vignette might be correct here and that
this could indeed be a bug in tomcat.

What do you think ?
