http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=33640 [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED Resolution|INVALID | ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2005-02-18 18:38 ------- But SRV.14.2.8 states: ServletContext.getRequestDispatcher(String) "Returns a RequestDispatcher object that acts as a wrapper for the resource located at the given path. A RequestDispatcher object can be used to forward a request to the resource or to include the resource in a response. The resource can be dynamic or static." Doesn't that state the it should forward to the String specified in getRequestDispatcher(String)? Also, SRV.14.2.5 states: RequestDispatcher.forward(ServletRequest, ServletResponse) "For a RequestDispatcher obtained via getRequestDispatcher(), the ServletRequest object has its path elements and parameters adjusted to match the path of the target resource."
