http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=35788 Summary: Suggestion for Google SiteSearch of FAQ Product: Tomcat 5 Version: Nightly Build Platform: Other URL: http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/faq/ OS/Version: other Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: Webapps:Documentation AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I noticed the search box on the Tomcat FAQ recently. Great idea! While adding it to the Struts FAQ and User Guide, I discovered that it can be done without JavaScript by using the 'domains' and 'sitesearch' form elements. (See: http://www.google.com/searchcode.html ) This also causes the results page to have radio buttons so the user can choose to restrict a second search to your site, and eliminates the 'inurl:' and 'site:' showing in the text box. I'm attaching a patch with those changes, and a little rearranging to put a label underneath the text box. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
