Ok, thanks. Maybe you could express a bit about the philosophy of the
auto-conf file then. I assumed, erroneously now, that it was
important to always use the auto-conf file that was created during the
startup of the current tomcat process. I guess it is only an aid to
building an auto-conf file then? In that case, maybe the building of
the auto-conf file should be a tomcat option like "make -n" or
something.
