Hi, How can I initialize Tomcat. That's the question. I have this application which has to check if some stuff is in place after it starts up. Also, it needs to cache a huge amount of data from a database. I don't want to use the <load-servlet-on-startup> thing in web.xml. I just want some extra init-class that will be run when I start the server.
