We've developed several .jsp pages and servlets using VisualAge and the IBM JDK 1.2 on Windows NT. Now we are attempting to move these pages to a server running RedHat Linux 7.0, Tomcat 3.1.1, Sun Java 2 SDK 1.3, Apache 1.3.14 + mod_ssl. All the servlets and jsp pages that come with tomcat work fine.
Unfortunatly we have not been so lucky, with our code. We've run into numerous problems. One of the most baffling being when going from an html page to a servlet it returns a 404 error even though nothing is showing up in the Tomcat log and the apache access_log records a 200 code. Are there any known issues when moving between these two platforms?
