Thanks for the tip. I have searched through the archive
and read every single one of the thread pertaining to
mod_jk.so. There was even a WAS_BORN_BY_APACHE
environment variable not mentioned anywhere in the
documentation.
Anyway, did everything that was discussed, but to no
avail. So, I decided to download the rpm version of
mod_jk.so from http://ipmized.free.fr Surely, this one
must work. But alas, no.
Please, please, don't tell me that I have to recompile
Apache. For if that's the case, I'd rather stay with
mod_jserv.so.
System:
Linux RedHat 6.2 kernel 2.2.14-12
Apache 1.3.12-2
Sun JDK1.2.2
Tomcat 3.2.1
