Is myhost.com (without the www) defined in the DNS setup for your server?  You
cannot just make up names here and expect them to work ... your browser does a
DNS lookup on the host you specify, before it ever tries to contact that host.
The name it looks up needs to be valid, and resolve to the IP address of your
server.
