Tomcat 3.2.1 and URL Rewriting

Hi,

I am trying to get Tomcat 3.2.1, Apache 1.3.14 and mod jserv on WinNT running with 
using URL rewriting.

Is it sufficient to call encodeURL for each URL? Or do I have to configure apache or 
tomcat for rewriting (I have e.g. not activated the mod rewrite)?

Is there an automatic solution for URL rewriting?
