301 vs 302 redirect vs. 303 other

Hi,

Does the reference J2EE spec for tomcat specify whether Tomcat is
required to use 301, 302, or 303 for the

        HttpServletResponse.sendRedirect(java.lang.String location)

api?

(Browsers don't all do the same thing.)
