How do I get jk_jnicb.o ?? ./build doesn't make it, I don'tthink

In src/native/jni_connect/  there's:     
 Makefile.nw       Makefile.solaris  jk_jnicb.c        jk_jnicb.exp
 jk_jnicb.h        jni_connect.dsp   jni_connect.dsw

When I ./build, it doesn't seem to compile those files.. does anyone know
where jk_jnicb.o  is  or how I can make it?
