Hi Olaf,
      I think u r downloaded src(source) version of tomcat....... because ur file name 
is
jakarta-tomcat-3.2.1-src.......Yes it will create problem...... Go to tomcat site then
click binary version of tomcat then start download tomcat.......  the file name should 
be
jakarta-tomcat-3.2.1.tar.gz......... Then set class path for tomcat and
java................ start ur tomcat server in /bin mode.........
      If u get mod_jk.so along with ur binary, then iclude this path to apach.conf 
file.
If not, again go to the same site download binary version of mod_jk.so that is
alllllllllllllllllllll............................
