Hi All-- Does tomcat have problems with
dual-processor NT machines? If we hit the web server/servlet runner very
hard with lots of clicking (denial-of-service), the tomcat program stops
functioning, although CPU usage or memory usage does not seem to be a
problem. We have to restart it to get anything to happen.
We tried the same experiment with a
single-processor wimpy NT machine with tomcat 3.1, and the CPU usage peaks for
many minutes, but eventually tomcat responds again when everything has been
processed. It stays up and running, although it was not responding
for many minutes.
