I am trying to integrate Tomcat and Apache using the mod_jk. My problem
seems pretty basic but since I am new I cannot
figure out why its happening.
I am trying to run the "apxs" command to generate the mod_jk.so file. The message I
am getting is
/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs: not found
I checked and this is the correct location. I can "vi" the file. I even did a 777 on
the file to make sure that it was not a
permissions thing but I still get the same error.
I did not have perl installed when I installed Apache however, I later installed it.
Is this the issue?
My java version is:
java version "1.3.0"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.0)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.0, mixed mode)
Any help would be appreciated.
