You might wish to try connecting to port 8080. 8007 is the ajp12 connector, used to connect apache to tomcat, which is why you are seeing all those ajp12 errors. 8080 is the default http port for tomcat's internal http server.

 I'm installing  "Tomcat  3.2.1" on a Linux RedHat 7
system running  a  2.2.16  kernel and the "jdk1.3"
Java version.
 Tomcat in stand-alone mode produces the following
