I agree. I use jbuilder and tomcat to compile and run my jsps.  I just
use Homesite to write the jsp code.

A professional whom I know develops JSP and servlets for a living and
uses
Allaire Homesite and does not recommend this tool. Allaire does have a
mainly JSP tool JRun Studio, but I myself did not like it, but I only
used
it one day and then uninstalled it so I did not fully test it. I use
JBuilder Professional and it comes with tomcat as its server. It also
has
highlighting ect. . The standard edition is free and the directions to
install Tomcat as it's server are on Borland's web site. The good thing
about an IDE like JBuilder is you can develop servlets which should be
developed with a full fledged IDE and also your beans. Hey why not use
one
tool instead of 2 or 3.
