We use tomcat-replication.jar, which is the backport that someone else mentioned earlier. It works well as a failover tool, but there is a slight delay in replication. Maybe tuning could alleviate that but I think with rapid browsing, it may not be able to keep up. We use the replication for failover support, but we still keep sticky sessions via a jvmRoute..
